Instructor Profile :

Vince started training in 1994 with Shihan Adrian Schanders Gojuryu Karate club in London .

A strong supporter of traditional karate, Vince set his standards high and was determined to do well. This hard work and dedication was rewarded when Vince passed his Shodan in 1999 and his Nidan in 2001.

He has gained considerable experience by attending seminars with the likes of Enoeda Sensei, Kanazawa Sensei and England SKA kumite coach Sensei Gary Stewart.

Sensei Vince moved to Wales where he started the Reikan Ryu Karate club in December 2003.

In 2004 Vince met Paul Watson and went along to train at the WKU Bridgend club. Since then Reikan Ryu clubs and members have been supporting events held by the WKU such as competitions and seminars with Sensei Dave Hazard and Welsh kumite coach Sensei Steven Wellington.

Sensei Vince has built up friendship, respect and has found the WKU to have the same vision as himself and for future evolvement of Karate. In 2006 Vince took the decision to affiliate his students and become members of the Welsh Karate Union.
