Sunday 1st November, Afon Lido, Port Talbot.

2009 WKGB "Youth Open" Championships

The WKGB Youth Open Championships were held on Sunday 9th August at the Welsh Institute of Sport, Cardiff.
We had a small number of competitors enter the championships. Sensei Neil said " he was very proud of those who entered, nearly everyone won a medal, Leondre Devries took part but sadly missed out on the medals.

2009 Legend Shotokan Open International

On Saturday 7th March in Bracknell, Berkshire was the Legend championships. This annual event had competitors come from various countries. The WKU was represented by John Hallett, Matthew Lloyd, Peter Barnwell, Lee Ockwell, Tyrone McFarlane and Andrew McCormick. They all competed to an extremely high standard and we are all proud of their performance.

Sunday 22nd February saw the thirteenth WKU championships which were held in Bridgend. Once again the standard of competitors was excellent and the right decisions being made.
